Born and raised in Durango, Colorado, Andy spent his youth “workin and playin, day to dayin” ​in the San Juan Mountains​. ​​With a ​bachelor’s degree in studio arts​ from the University of Colorado,​ writing and illustrating children’s stories has always been ​his ​happy place.

 

Following an adventure in Australia​ in late 2008​, Andy ​vowed ​to make his happy place his ​"​all the time​"​ place. Ever since, he's been ​creating​ a collection of unique, playful tales to make young imaginations fizz, ​and ​resonate with older audience​s too.

 

These days, ​Andy lives in Boulder, Colorado with his lovely wife to be, ​where he continues to write and illustrate, always adding to his collection of stories, ​which ​debut​​ here for the very first time. Enjoy!
